Regina police didn’t want to gamble with a package found outside of the show lounge entrance at Casino Regina Monday evening.
The explosives disposal unit was called in to examine the suspicious package, which was found by an employee around 5 p.m., after the first officers on the scene assessed the area. The unit determined the package was not dangerous and could be moved away.
Police remind the public to report any suspicious activity or packages.
