With a record price tag of $5 million for 30 seconds, Super Bowl ads have become part of the entertainment package.
The top commercials ranged from the offbeat humor of a creature called a ‘puppymonkeybaby’, to an NFL promotion with a choir of ‘Super Bowl babies’, and the usual assortment of cute animals and movie stars.
Other commercials opted for the serious side, with Budweiser sponsoring a public service announcement against drinking and driving and Colgate sponsoring another one about wasting water.
