Police say there’s no indication of anything criminal after a fatal fire in northwest Regina last week.
Regina fire crews were called to Markwell Drive in the early hours of Jan. 22. A 48-year-old man was pulled from the duplex but died on scene.
On Thursday, the Regina Police Service said it has released the scene, but continues to investigate. The office of the chief coroner is leading the investigation into the man’s death, while Regina Fire & Protective Services investigates the cause of the fire.
