Regina YMCA looks to put Housing First into action

Housing First is finally getting its start in Regina.
The successful homelessness strategy has been implemented in communities like Prince Albert and Medicine Hat. It takes individuals living on the streets and puts them in housing first before addressing some of the struggles they may be dealing with.
The YMCA is calling for proposals on how to implement Housing First in Regina in the hopes it is up and running by the summer.
