A 26-year-old man faces several charges after he was caught with keys to a stolen car and guns.
North Battleford RCMP told Saskatoon Police that a Ford F150 with a gun and ammunition inside had been stolen in their city and could be in Saskatoon.
Then on Jan. 8, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit spotted the truck at a home in the 200 block of Avenue F North. The man was arrested when he came out of the house and approached the car.
He had the truck keys and a magazine clip with ammunition for a .22 rifle in his pockets. The stolen rifle was found in the house’s backyard.
The man is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000, Breach of Probation and a number of firearm offences.
