Prince Albert Police are investigating what may be the city’s first homicide of 2016.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of 1st Ave. W around 3 a.m. Sunday after reports that someone had been shot.
They found a dead 23-year-old man at the apartment.
Police are still on scene. The death is being treated as a homicide.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12.
