Victoria Avenue has been reopened between Park Street and Ring Road after a pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday morning.
The Regina Police Service says a 39-year-old man was crossing Victoria Avenue when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. Police were called to the scene at 2:35 a.m. By the time paramedics arrived, the man was already dead.
The 19-year-old man driving the vehicle was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Police remained on scene investigating for several hours. The section was reopened by 9 a.m.
