A young boy who was the victim of a sexual assault nearly a decade ago is now free to tell his story.
Zachary Miller, now 20, applied to have the publication ban around his name lifted, and last week, a judge in a Regina court granted his application
Miller, from Whitewood, was 10 when he and a 14-year-old boy from Manitoba were kidnapped and sexually assaulted by convicted pedophile Peter Whitmore in July 2006. Miller now wants to tell his story of survival.
In 2007 Whitmore was sentenced to life in jail for his crimes.
A publication ban remains in place for the name of the other victim.
