Regina police have laid charges of attempted murder after officers found an injured man Thursday morning.
Police were called to the 400 block of Lorne Street at 8:30 a.m. to a report of an “injured male”. Police haven’t said what kind of injuries the man had, but say he was taken to hospital.
A 36-year-old Regina man was arrested Thursday night and charged in the case. Hartley Joseph Matechuk is charged with attempted murder, forcible confinement and uttering threats.
Matechuk made his first court appearance Friday morning.
