A woman was killed in a head-on collision north of Moose Jaw Sunday afternoon.
A car and truck collided on Highway 2 around 4:30 p.m. about five kilometres north of the Moose Jaw.
The 80-year-old woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Mounties say she was driving a four-door Sunfire southbound when it crossed the centre line and collided with a crew cab truck. A man and woman in the truck were both taken to hospital with what RCMP call non life-threatening injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours as RCMP investigated. It was reopened before 11 p.m.
The 80-year-old woman was from Moose Jaw, but police aren’t releasing her name.
Mounties say road conditions were good at the time of the crash.
