One suspect is on the loose after a bank robbery in Regina’s north end.
Regina police responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the Royal Bank of Canada on Rochdale Boulevard at 9:47 a.m. on Tuesday. A man wearing a mask and carrying a shotgun walked into the bank and demanded cash.
There were about 20 people in the bank at the time, but no one was hurt.
He got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The man is described at 5’10”, with a slim build, wearing a green hat with a black bill and a dark grey hoodie.
An earlier version of this story said there were two suspects based on early information from police. The Regina Police Service has now clarified that there was only one suspect.
