Hope you enjoyed the mild weather today… because it’s the last we’ll see of it for awhile.
The special weather statements that warned of an impending winter storm have now turned into warnings.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for areas like Melfort, Tisdale and Hudson Bay, but the issue for most of southern Saskatchewan will be the wind.
Saskatoon is expected to see 70 to 90 km/h winds starting Wednesday morning which could damage property and toss around loose objects.
Scattered flurries will also lead to poor visibility on the highways.
