Moose Jaw police found a body in the Moose Jaw River Saturday afternoon believed to be that of a 54-year-old man.
Police received a call Saturday morning that a 54-year-old patient at the Union Hospital had gone missing. Just after 2:30 p.m. police received information that a personal item belonging to that missing man was found on a bench along the river. A little less than a hour later, police discovered his body in the river near the south bank.
The death is not considered suspicious. Moose Jaw police and the office of the coroner are continuing to investigate.
