The recent discovery of a body by the Fieldhouse in Regina is not being considered a criminal case. Regina police said the body belonged to a male under the age of 18.
Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, officers were called to an area by the tracks near Elphinstone Street. That’s where the body was found. Police said they would not be giving out an exact age at this time because, at this stage in the investigation, there are reasons not to give out that specific of information that could be used to help identify him.
His family has been notified, according to police, and the autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
