It’s a very busy time in Jess Moskaluke’s life.
On Sunday, she performed and presented an award at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) awards show, and was also named the female vocalist of the year for the second year in a row.
It was a busy night, which didn’t leave much time for Moskaluke to celebrate. However, that also meant Moskaluke didn’t have much time for nerves either.
“Behind the scenes, there’s a lot of interviews going on in between, running back and forth, costume changes.”
The hectic night seems to be a reflection of Moskaluke’s career as the Langenburg singer has a new single and album out, as well as the Road Trip Tour with Paul Brandt and Dean Brody starting up soon.
With all the success, Moskaluke admitted on Thursday that it’s been difficult to soak everything in – including her latest honour from the CCMA.
“You know what, I have not had a second to myself just yet. I’m sure that next week when I’m kind of hauled up in my house and able to unpack and do some laundry and become a normal person again, I’m sure it will start to set in then.”
The first single from her album Kiss Me Quiet has already been released.
The Road Trip Tour makes one stop in Saskatchewan – in Regina on Oct. 7.
