A crash on the northern edge of Saskatoon on Saturday sent two men to the hospital and caused a massive traffic backup on the road to Martensville.
The Saskatoon fire department said a small car hit a three tonne truck at 71st Street and Highway 11 at around 11:30 p.m.
The truck wound up lying on its side in the ditch.
Both drivers were sent to the Royal University Hospital with undetermined injuries.
