Saskatoon police are investigating a pair of early-morning stabbings on Monday.
Just after 1 a.m. Saskatoon police were called to the 1400 block of 22nd Street West where they found a 40-year-old woman suffering serious stab wounds. She was taken to hospital by paramedics. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Three hours later police were called back to the same block for a second stabbing in an alley. Emergency services transported the male victim to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident and cannot identify the man yet. Police believe the two incidents are not connected.
