Charges are pending against a man accused of abducting three children from Sweetgrass First Nation just west of North Battleford.
Saskatchewan RCMP said at approximately 2:15 p.m., Battleford RCMP received a call from an adult on the Sweetgrass First Nation saying that a man in an SUV abducted three children, aged eight, 11, and 13, and left the area. Police were told the children are known to the suspect.
Just a couple of hours later the RCMP located the man and arrested him at a home on the Little Pine First Nation. Four children, including the three reported abducted, were found safe and sound.
The investigation is ongoing.
