Kindersley RCMP are warning about fake OxyContin pills.
The pills contain fentanyl, a highly toxic opiod linked to deaths across Canada in recent years.
Green fentanyl tablets marked to look like OxyContin have been linked to deaths across Canada, including two in Saskatoon in 2014.
RCMP said the pills can now be found in any variety of colours and pressings. They said three overdoses, two of which resulted in deaths, in the Kindersley area are thought to be the result of fentanyl.
Police are urging people not to take illegal drugs and to call police if they have any information on who may be selling the deadly pills.
