Beware of emails purporting to be from SaskEnergy; it could be a scam, according to the Crown corporation.
On Wednesday, SaskEnergy sent out a warning saying it’s received some complaints from customers. The scam email it’s from SaskEnergy and says their bill is attached and ready to be viewed.
SaskEnergy said it doesn’t send out customer billing information via email attachments.
Anyone who received a suspicious-looking email is asked to call SaskEnergy customer service at 1-800-567-8899.
