If you snooze, you lose – a pair in Regina proved the old saying true when they were pepper sprayed and arrested Saturday morning.
Police were called out to the 200 block of Garnet Street around 2:30 Saturday morning about a car that was parked half in a driveway and half in the street.
After officers arrived they noticed that there were two people in the car, a man and a woman who were sleeping, and that the car was stolen.
When the pair in the car woke up, police say they tried to drive off, but only succeeded in hitting a parked vehicle in a driveway and then crashing into a house.
Officers pepper-sprayed the pair, and arrested them.
No details on names of, or charges against the accused were available on Saturday.
