9:00 – Paul Hughes has spent the past two years volunteering as a humanitarian aid provider in Ukraine. He’s a farmer who spent part of his childhood in Saskatchewan and wasted no time heading over to Ukraine after it was first attacked by Russia two years ago. He speaks with Evan from Ukraine about his experiences and the work he’s done there over the past 600+ days.

10:00 – The Round Table of Justice – In today’s Round Table of Justice Evan is joined by the pilots of Saskatoon & Regina’s Aerial Support Units. Sgt. Wade Bourassa with the Saskatoon Police Service and Sgt. Steve Wyatt with the Regina Police Service join Evan to discuss the work they do.
11:00 – We just marked the two-year anniversary of war on Ukraine and we’ve been highlighting topics around the war, giving updates today to try and catch people up on what’s happening, both in Ukraine and in Saskatchewan. Danylo Puderak, executive director for the Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Saskatchewan, joins Evan to offer an update on the province and its response to the conflict.
11:15 – The Ukrainian Canadian Congresses throughout the province – and in Saskatoon and Regina specifically – have done a lot of work over the past two years as Ukraine and Russia have been at war. Giving an update on the state of affairs with the Regina branch, UCC president Holly Paluck, joins Evan, accompanied by Zoriana Zhebeliuk, a Ukrainian whose husband died on the battlefield, and Dana Lesiuk, a volunteer at the USCC Regina Donations Centre.
12:00 – Sgt. Rich Fraser with the Regina Police Service recently organized a police equipment drive to support the Ukraine military. He joins Evan to discuss how we were able to contribute valuable equipment that is no longer able to be used by our police services.
