11:00 – In Saskatchewan, a new piece of fossilized dinosaur skin has been found. Dr. Ryan McKellar, paleontologist and curator with the Royal Saskatchewan Museum recently examined the skin along with Caelen Libke, a University of Regina graduate student. This new finding could possibly be a new species or a type of “Edmontosaurus” which is a large duckbilled dinosaur. Dr. McKellar joins us to talk about this new discovery, and answer all of your dinosaur-related questions.

12:00- According to the Saskatchewan water security agency, a moisture-laden low-pressure system is moving into southern Alberta early this week. This system is expected to bring widespread rainfall accumulations of 50 millimetres over southern Alberta. This means that high water levels are expected for the Sask River System. Additionally, Lake Diefenbaker’s water levels are also expected to rise a considerable amount.
