8:30 – Regina remains our provincial hot spot for COVID-19 with 513 active cases. Compare that to the number two spot, Saskatoon, which has just 212 active cases. While the Provincial Government is recommending against non-essential travel to the Queen City, vaccinations have also picked up significantly. Mayor Sandra Masters called on residents to be responsible and said all options were on the table when it comes to curbing the spread, and she joins Gormley to tell us more.

11:00 – A new at-home test for COVID-19 has been approved for use by Health Canada. P23 Labs makes the test, which uses a saliva sample to determine results rather than a nasal swab. The test is the first of its kind to be approved in our country, and promises accurate results and a pain-free process.
