Meanwhile, voluntary in-school coronavirus testing is underway in Saskatchewan, and drive-through testing has increased our testing rate significantly. 10:00 – Predictions about how bad COVID-19 could get have largely not come to pass, but are public health officials stoking fear by overstating the destructive potential? John Carpay, head of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, says the COVID lockdowns were a reaction to the fear propagated by health officials, and the delays in essential surgeries have also cost lives. Carpay says he respects the expertise of health officials, but they should not have unchecked powers over Canada’s economic, legal, and social future.
