8:30 – Justin Trudeau and his chief of staff Katie Telford are both set to testify to the House of Commons Finance Committee today as the nation tries to get to the bottom of the WE Charity scandal. Toronto Sun’s Brian Lilley has been following the story very closely, and he joins Drew to tell us about the latest developments and what we should expect from today’s testimony.

9:00 – Bug’s Day… The Hour of Rage!
10:00 – Five Saskatchewan hockey teams traveled to Manitoba earlier this month for a tournament, and they’ve faced significant criticism for the choice. Premier Moe called the teams selfish, saying he was disappointed they would put the province’s safe restart at risk. But, despite the teams being slammed, the teams were given incorrect advice from the province which led them to believe it was okay to take the trip. Drew says it’s unfair that these teams are being slammed for acting on the advice they were given by the government, and has some strong words for the “busybodies” who can’t wait to criticize these kids.
11:00 – A writer for “Gazette” recently put together his “Mount Rushmore of above-average TV,” including the shows “How I Met Your Mother,” “Flight of the Conchords,” “Psych” and “Turn: Washington’s Spies.” Drew says none of these four series should be on any TV’s Rushmore, and this writer may be out to lunch. Executive Producer Taylor MacPherson joins Drew to debate some of the best TV of all time, and we want to know which shows definitely deserve to be on the television Mount Rushmore.

12:00 – NASA’s new Mars rover launched this morning, a car-sized vehicle covered with cameras, microphones, lasers, drills, and even a mini helicopter. The rover has a long journey ahead, with its landing set for Feb. 18, 2021. Elizabeth Howell is a space journalist and author of “The Search for Life on Mars,” and she joins Drew to tell us why the scientific community is so excited about this new mission.
