8:30 – The Crown stayed its breach of trust charge against Vice-Admiral Mark Norman Wednesday, and some are accusing the federal government of interference in the case. Lawyer and former Liberal strategist Warren Kinsella says continuing the prosecution would have exposed involvement by senior members of the Trudeau government “in a scheme to use the criminal justice system to punish an alleged whistleblower.” Kinsella drew parallels between the Norman case and the SNC-Lavalin affair, and said one is forced to conclude that “this is the most corrupt federal government in Canada’s history.” Kinsella joins John now to discuss the case and what it says about the Trudeau regime.
