Hazmat crews were sent to investigate two more suspicious packages in Saskatoon on Thursday.
The first call brought emergency crews to the Saskatoon Inn. Police said an envelope stuffed with white powder was delivered to a hotel on Airport Drive around 11 a.m.
The package was tested and determined to be non-hazardous. Police continue to investigate.
Just after 4:00 p.m., police were called out to the 400 block of 22nd Street East. A package containing a white powder was found at an area business.
Tests determined the contents were not hazardous in the second call.
Thursday’s package calls are the 12th and 13th in Saskatoon since November, 2016.
