Saskatoon police are investigating a string of break and enters over the weekend.
Out of 12 reports, seven businesses were broken into along with one work site trailer.
Police said the break ins happened in all areas of the east side.
City-wide break and enters are up over last year with 1,952 reported so far in 2016, compared to 1,930 reported in 2015.
The SPS advises businesses and homeowners to take steps to help prevent break ins. It’s also important to record serial numbers for items of value in the event they should be recovered.
Anyone with information regarding break and enters or any other criminal activity call the SPS at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
