A story about a Regina man and his service dog is making the rounds on social media.
On Monday night, Lowe’s Canada shared how one of their newest employees in Regina was welcomed on the job.
“A recent hire is a gentleman that was having difficulty finding employment because of a brain injury and a support dog,” the Facebook post read.
“So we did what Lowe’s does best: we hired him and outfitted Blue, our customer service canine, with his very own vest!”
Photos of Blue in a bright orange Customer Service vest, which features his very own name tag, have now been shared around the world.
While Blue’s newest job is gaining him attention, he’s still focused on the important work of being a service dog.
Thousands have already liked the post and offered supportive comments for the new hires.
