A new zip line has opened in the Cypress Hills Provincial Park south of Maple Creek.
Saskatchewan Parks Minister Bill Hutchison -- with some trepidation -- was among the first to climb the 40 foot ladder and be hitched to the line that runs through Lodge Pole Pine forest.
“When did anybody really look at a forest from 40 feet up, near the tops of all the trees? It’s just an extraordinary experience. It’s a unique view, the sounds and the sites are completely different up there,” said Hutchinson.
