Woman sexually assaulted by man in truck near Regina
A woman was grabbed as she was walking along Retallack Street in Regina, pulled into a truck and sexually assaulted by a man just outside of Regina.
The RCMP say the woman was between 3rd and 4th Avenues just before sunrise when the white pick-up pulled up. The man pushed her into the passenger side.
The man drove just outside Regina near the Highway 11 overpass, turned off Highway #6 onto a service road and parked on the shoulder of the grid road.
She was sexually assaulted, but got away hitting and kicking the man. She ran away and the truck drove off.
RCMP describe the suspect as white, about 50 years old, with grey thinning hair, between 5'9 to six feet. He is of a medium build, was wearing soiled clothes, and was unshaven. He was driving a white pick-up, perhaps a mid-80's model, with a rust stained silver toolbox in the back, and black and white fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. The image on the floor mats of the truck is a sillouette of a woman.
