Whitney Houston was found underwater in her hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills where she was pronounced dead on Saturday afternoon.

ABC News reports that there were no signs of foul play and no obvious signs of trauma on the 48-year-old singer's body when a member of her entourage found her dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Saturday.

Beverly Hills Police Department issued a statement today saying that they cannot speculate on what may have caused her death.

The Los Angeles Times newspaper is reporting that investigators found several prescription drug bottles in her hotel room. Officials with the coroner’s office say it will take time to determine cause of death. They are hoping that toxicology results will reveal more clues.

Police have put a security hold on the autopsy results to keep further details of the case from leaking out.
