A dangerous lane change sent a man and woman to hospital Friday night.

Around 6:30 p.m., two vehicles were heading east on Highway 16 near the Dalmeny turn off.

A Ford pick-up truck cut off a Ford Explorer.  The explorer managed to avoid a collision, but veered into the ditch, and rolled.  The man and woman inside were both wearing their seatbelts, and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 28-year-old man from Alberta was driving the truck.  He is now charged under the Traffic Safety Act for with making an unsafe lane change.

RCMP say alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
