UPDATE: Homicide on the Pelican Lake First Nation

RCMP are investigating what's believed to be a homicide on the Pelican Lake First Nation.
On Saturday, members of the Spiritwood detachment were called to an open field on the first nation around 6:30 a.m. Robi Davis Thomas, 23, was laying in the field, unconscious, and unresponsive.
RCMP and EMS tried to do CPR on the young man, but it was too late.
Apparently, Pelican Lake youth had been celebrating graduation when an altercation occurred.
Jay Lyndon Thomas, 18, was arrested . He has been charged with 2nd degree murder and will appear in court on June 11th.
An autopsy is being scheduled for Tuesday.
RCMP are continuing the investigation.
