Two sent to hospital after early morning crash

Police are investigating after a crash between a truck and car early Saturday morning in Regina.

Police say two teenage girls were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the vehicle they were in hit a truck. The girls, who are 17 and 18, were seated in the back of the car. 

The driver of the car that the girls were in ran a red light and swerved before striking the rear of the truck. When police, arrived it was stopped on a grassy bank by the intersection of Prince of Wales Drive and Arens Road, where the accident occurred. Police investigators are still determining if charges will be laid.
