Monday marks two years since three members of a Burmese family were found murdered in their Regina home.

The triple homicide remains one of the largest investigations undertaken by the Regina Police Service.  Speaking for police, Elizabeth Popowich insists progress is being made in the case, but could not give any details on what that progress is.

"It's important to stress that this investigation is a very active investigation and there's work done on it daily."

Last year, officers began interviewing people who only spoke the first language of the slain family.

The neighbourhood where the family was found was shocked by the murders, but many in the area say they have now moved on.

Abey Tura still remembers when the police first knocked on his door.

"All of a sudden, the whole street was filled with cops," Tura recalled, "I didn't know what was going on."
