The "Spirit of our Nations" committee put on a press conference Wednesday afternoon to drum up attention for this year's Pow Wow, which will see more than ten thousand gathered at the Credit Union Centre from around Canada and the United States.
Saskatchewan Indian Cultural Centre president Dorothy Myo said these events are about having fun.
"It brings a real positive presence of First Nations people in the city," she said.
"This really puts our best foot forward in this community."
The Pow Wow is one of the largest First Nations celebrations in western Canada.
