Senator's wife has charges changed
A Canadian Senator's wife accused of threatening her husband on an airplane
from Ottawa to Saskatoon will be back in Saskatoon Provincial Court this
afternoon.
Maygan Sensenberger, 23, appeared in domestic violence court
this morning, sitting in the back of the gallery as one of her charges was
withdrawn.
She was initially charged with endangering the safety of an
aircraft and causing a disturbance.
Court heard the endangering charge
has been dropped and replaced with a threats charge.
Sensenberger
allegedly threatened her husband, 69-year-old Manitoba Liberal Senator Rod
Zimmer, on an Air Canada Flight from Ottawa to Saskatoon last
week.
Yesterday was the couple's first wedding anniversary, which they
spent apart as one of Sensenberger's release conditions was to have no contact
with her husband.
