The Regina Pats are making changes behind the bench. The team is not renewing the contracts of assistant coach Shaun Sutter or goaltender coach Ryan Cyr.

General Manager Chad Lang spoke about the change.

"These decisions are always tough to make, with a number of factors to take into consideration, however after a lengthy review process we felt it was time to make a change," said Lang.

The search will begin immediately to fill the spots.

As for head coach Curtis Hunt, he still has a year left in his contract, but G.M. Chad Gang said the evaluation process continues with everyone.
