An RCMP officer was involved in a rollover north of Prince Albert Wednesday night.

The rollover happened around 10:30 p.m. on Hwy. 2. The officer driving a white pick up truck, was traveling south on the highway, and ended up in a ditch after rolling and landing on the passenger side.

Buckland Fire and Rescue attended the scene.  The officer was pulled out of the car while talking with emergency crews, explaining how to take off his equipment belt.

The male officer was then taken to hospital on a spine board in stable condition.
