Provincial unemployment rate jumps slightly in June

Saskatchewan's unemployment rate went up last month jumped from 4.5 per cent in May to 4.9 per cent in June.
Just under five per cent unemployment is still second lowest rate among the provinces next to Alberta.
The unemployment rate in Regina rose a tenth of a point to an even four per cent.
Saskatoon has more people out of work even though the city's rate fell a point to five point five per cent.
The national figures for unemployment are mixed. Across Canada the unemployment rate was 7.2 per cent in June, down from 7.3 per cent in the previous month.
