Police have released a composite sketch of a suspect involved in a sexual assault on June 5.

A 17-year-old girl was the victim of a sexual assault at Avenue L North and 29th Street.

She was walking home from school at about 8:45 p.m. when a man in his late 30s or early 40s came up behind her and touched her inappropriately.

The girl was not injured and contacted police.

The man is average height, about 180 pounds and had a beer belly. According to the police, he had a darker complexion with acne scarring, dark brown or black hair with white or grey on the sides, and thick, bushy eyebrows.

The victim described the truck he was driving as looking like a work truck. It was white and there was a silver/grey colour that ran the width of the tailgate. She also noted that there was a large green air freshener that hung from the rear view mirror.
