Lloydminster RCMP are searching for suspects after a targeted, drug-related drive-by shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m. Thursday night in an alley behind 48th Street in the northeast part of the city.

Authorities in Lloydminster say that a driver was leaving their vehicle when they were fired on from another vehicle. There are no reported injuries.

RCMP are now looking for a white Chevy pickup truck with aftermarket chrome rims.

This is the second, drug-related shooting to occur in Lloydminster in recent weeks. Officers responded to the Tropical Inn Hotel on Dec. 23 after shots were fired at an unoccupied vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
