The Saskatchewan Coroner's Office says an inquest held into the death of a teenager girl who plunged from a catwalk at the Conexus Arts Center in Regina back in January.

Her name was not released by police, but media reports identified her as 17-year-old Jade Lynn Slaferek. She was from Qu'Appelle -- just east of Regina. 

On the night she died, she was attending an event at the center.

"Three young people entered an unauthorized area ...  They ascended the catwalk above the theatre.  Apparently a young lady lost her balance and fell," according to a statement from Conexus Arts Center at the time.

The young woman dropped 12 meters or about 40 feet and was pronounced dead on the scene.

There is no word on when an inquest into her death will take place.
