Injured mine worker on the mend
A mine worker injured during the long weekend
is expected to recover.
That from Claude Resources, the company that owns and operates the Seabee mine site in Northern Saskatchewan.
President and CEO Neil McMillan said from what he was told the worker was transported by Medivac to Saskatoon on July 1st with what were described as serious injuries.
McMillan said he could not comment on what happened. Those details may be released pending the investigation by Occupational Health and Safety.
The Seabee mine site is located 125 kilometers northeast of La Ronge.
