The SJHL championship series is down to a best-of-three.

The Humboldt Broncos came away with a 3-0 win over the Weyburn Red Wings Saturday to even the Canalta Cup at two games apiece. Game five goes Tuesday in Humboldt.

Broncos head coach and general manager Dean Brockman says a repeat performance of game four would be greatly appreciated.

“We have to use the home town crowd to our advantage,” said Brockman.  “We also have to keep our emotions in check.  At this time of the year it’s, ‘who wants it more?’"

With the players being mentally and physically fatigued after a long season, Brockman isn’t concerned about nailing home one specific thing to his player’s in terms of defeating Weyburn.

“You have to kind of block out all that stuff,” Brockman said.

“You have to make sure you’re ready each and every time you go out on the ice.  A mistake here and there could cost you, but you can’t be afraid to make them.  You just have to go out and play.”

Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. at the Elgar Petersen Arena.
