A deadly joy ride on a horse race track.

A 21 year old man from Onion Lake First Nation died after crashing his vehicle on the reserve's horse track.

Around 11:00 Friday night RCMP got a call about someone driving erratically.

The man - who was the only one in the car - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating, but alcohol is believed to have been involved.
