A collision between two SUVs near Whitewood on the TransCanada highway has shut down its eastbound lanes.

RCMP are still on the scene of which is near the junction with Highway 9.

The STARS air ambulance was called out as well. Sgt. Richard Price says at least two people were injured. It's not clear how badly they were hurt.

Traffic is being rerouted around the scene, so there may be delays.
