The next time you're in a bathroom at a bar or nightclub, you might see a poster with a stiff message -- one aimed at educating men in an effort to reduce the incidences of sexual assault in Regina.

That's because the Saskatchewan Association for Sexual Assault Services (SASAS) released their new campaign on Monday. They're calling it "Don't be THAT guy."

They hope the posters will help educate young people on the realities of sexual assault. The campaign targets people aged 18 - 25 with an emphasis on men.

"We hope to raise awareness and put the onus on men to be responsible for their behaviour, and for their friends' behaviour as well," said Dianna Graves, executive director of SASAS.

One poster shows a women being led into a stranger's car. The tagline reads, "Just because you help her home doesn't mean you get to help yourself."

Regina Police Chief Troy Hagen says this could be a good way to help reduce crime.

"We're always looking for ways to be proactive. Our police service works very hard to try and, obviously, prevent crime before it happens," he said.

The number of sexual assaults in Regina is on the decline. However, the number of sexual assaults involving alcohol has risen in the past few years.
